Exodus 40 |
| Exodus 40:1 | And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, |
| Exodus 40:2 | On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation. |
| Exodus 40:3 | And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the veil. |
| Exodus 40:4 | And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof. |
| Exodus 40:5 | And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle. |
| Exodus 40:6 | And thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation. |
| Exodus 40:7 | And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water therein. |
| Exodus 40:8 | And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate. |
| Exodus 40:9 | And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy. |
| Exodus 40:10 | And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy. |
| Exodus 40:11 | And thou shalt anoint the laver and his foot, and sanctify it. |
| Exodus 40:12 | And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water. |
| Exodus 40:13 | And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office. |
| Exodus 40:14 | And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats: |
| Exodus 40:15 | And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations. |
| Exodus 40:16 | Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he. |
| Exodus 40:17 | And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up. |
| Exodus 40:18 | And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened his sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up his pillars. |
| Exodus 40:19 | And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as the LORD commanded Moses. |
| Exodus 40:20 | And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark: |
| Exodus 40:21 | And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses. |
| Exodus 40:22 | And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, without the veil. |
| Exodus 40:23 | And he set the bread in order upon it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses. |
| Exodus 40:24 | And he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward. |
| Exodus 40:25 | And he lighted the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses. |
| Exodus 40:26 | And he put the golden altar in the tent of the congregation before the veil: |
| Exodus 40:27 | And he burnt sweet incense thereon; as the LORD commanded Moses. |
| Exodus 40:28 | And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle. |
| Exodus 40:29 | And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; as the LORD commanded Moses. |
| Exodus 40:30 | And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash withal. |
| Exodus 40:31 | And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat: |
| Exodus 40:32 | When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses. |
| Exodus 40:33 | And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work. |
| Exodus 40:34 | Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. |
| Exodus 40:35 | And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. |
| Exodus 40:36 | And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys: |
| Exodus 40:37 | But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up. |
| Exodus 40:38 | For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys. |

2Chronicles 26 |
| 2Chronicles 26:1 | Then all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in the room of his father Amaziah. |
| 2Chronicles 26:2 | He built Eloth, and restored it to Judah, after that the king slept with his fathers. |
| 2Chronicles 26:3 | Sixteen years old was Uzziah when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and two years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name also was Jecoliah of Jerusalem. |
| 2Chronicles 26:4 | And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah did. |
| 2Chronicles 26:5 | And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper. |
| 2Chronicles 26:6 | And he went forth and warred against the Philistines, and brake down the wall of Gath, and the wall of Jabneh, and the wall of Ashdod, and built cities about Ashdod, and among the Philistines. |
| 2Chronicles 26:7 | And God helped him against the Philistines, and against the Arabians that dwelt in Gurbaal, and the Mehunims. |
| 2Chronicles 26:8 | And the Ammonites gave gifts to Uzziah: and his name spread abroad even to the entering in of Egypt; for he strengthened himself exceedingly. |
| 2Chronicles 26:9 | Moreover Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at the corner gate, and at the valley gate, and at the turning of the wall, and fortified them. |
| 2Chronicles 26:10 | Also he built towers in the desert, and digged many wells: for he had much cattle, both in the low country, and in the plains: husbandmen also, and vine dressers in the mountains, and in Carmel: for he loved husbandry. |
| 2Chronicles 26:11 | Moreover Uzziah had an host of fighting men, that went out to war by bands, according to the number of their account by the hand of Jeiel the scribe and Maaseiah the ruler, under the hand of Hananiah, one of the king’s captains. |
| 2Chronicles 26:12 | The whole number of the chief of the fathers of the mighty men of valour were two thousand and six hundred. |
| 2Chronicles 26:13 | And under their hand was an army, three hundred thousand and seven thousand and five hundred, that made war with mighty power, to help the king against the enemy. |
| 2Chronicles 26:14 | And Uzziah prepared for them throughout all the host shields, and spears, and helmets, and habergeons, and bows, and slings to cast stones. |
| 2Chronicles 26:15 | And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong. |
| 2Chronicles 26:16 | But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to his destruction: for he transgressed against the LORD his God, and went into the temple of the LORD to burn incense upon the altar of incense. |
| 2Chronicles 26:17 | And Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him fourscore priests of the LORD, that were valiant men: |
| 2Chronicles 26:18 | And they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It appertaineth not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto the LORD, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed; neither shall it be for thine honour from the LORD God. |
| 2Chronicles 26:19 | Then Uzziah was wroth, and had a censer in his hand to burn incense: and while he was wroth with the priests, the leprosy even rose up in his forehead before the priests in the house of the LORD, from beside the incense altar. |
| 2Chronicles 26:20 | And Azariah the chief priest, and all the priests, looked upon him, and, behold, he was leprous in his forehead, and they thrust him out from thence; yea, himself hasted also to go out, because the LORD had smitten him. |
| 2Chronicles 26:21 | And Uzziah the king was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house, being a leper; for he was cut off from the house of the LORD: and Jotham his son was over the king’s house, judging the people of the land. |
| 2Chronicles 26:22 | Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah, first and last, did Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, write. |
| 2Chronicles 26:23 | So Uzziah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the field of the burial which belonged to the kings; for they said, He is a leper: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead. |

Isaiah 62 |
| Isaiah 62:1 | For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth. |
| Isaiah 62:2 | And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name. |
| Isaiah 62:3 | Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God. |
| Isaiah 62:4 | Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married. |
| Isaiah 62:5 | For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee. |
| Isaiah 62:6 | I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence. |
| Isaiah 62:7 | And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. |
| Isaiah 62:8 | The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured: |
| Isaiah 62:9 | But they that have gathered it shall eat it and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness. |
| Isaiah 62:10 | Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people. |
| Isaiah 62:11 | Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. |
| Isaiah 62:12 | And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken. |

Luke 15 |
| Luke 15:1 | Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him. |
| Luke 15:2 | And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them. |
| Luke 15:3 | And he spake this parable unto them, saying, |
| Luke 15:4 | What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? |
| Luke 15:5 | And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. |
| Luke 15:6 | And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. |
| Luke 15:7 | I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. |
| Luke 15:8 | Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? |
| Luke 15:9 | And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost. |
| Luke 15:10 | Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. |
| Luke 15:11 | And he said, A certain man had two sons: |
| Luke 15:12 | And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. |
| Luke 15:13 | And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. |
| Luke 15:14 | And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. |
| Luke 15:15 | And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. |
| Luke 15:16 | And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. |
| Luke 15:17 | And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! |
| Luke 15:18 | I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, |
| Luke 15:19 | And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. |
| Luke 15:20 | And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. |
| Luke 15:21 | And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. |
| Luke 15:22 | But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: |
| Luke 15:23 | And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: |
| Luke 15:24 | For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. |
| Luke 15:25 | Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing. |
| Luke 15:26 | And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant. |
| Luke 15:27 | And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound. |
| Luke 15:28 | And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and entreated him. |
| Luke 15:29 | And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends: |
| Luke 15:30 | But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf. |
| Luke 15:31 | And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. |
| Luke 15:32 | It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found. |
